SellerActive has a rest API that allows clients to access our database and the functions within it. You can perform several actions through the API and, with the assistance of a developer, can setup automated calls to access and manipulate many features, including:
If SellerActive does not provide an integration you are seeking, you can leverage our rest API to construct a non-official integration via our "Manual" SellerActive Site.
To access the API you will need active SellerActive credentials and at least one active integration (Amazon, Walmart, etc.). If the account is not "active," then access will not be granted.
What if I am paying a third-party developer to do this work? Do I need to give them my credentials to login?
Yes, you will need to provide your credentials to the third-party developer unless you create a secondary SellerActive account that we can link to your account on the back end. These secondary accounts are free of charge, however, you will need to contact your implementation specialist or our support team at email@example.com for more information
Can I pay your engineering team to perform the work I am looking for?
Our engineering team is heavily focused on strengthening the product, so we are not currently offering professional services for custom API work. If the developer you have is running into error responses or if they need more assistance with general API requests, please have them email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can assist in the troubleshooting process.
